The short version

Where they really differ
ScraperAPI's value is unblocking: rotating and premium proxies, geotargeting, CAPTCHA handling, and bypasses for common bot-protection services. It has a crawler for following links across a domain, plus async and scheduled bulk jobs.
Its pricing is in credits, and the credit cost depends on the target and options: a normal request costs 1, JavaScript rendering adds 10, and some specialist targets cost 25 or more. You pay only for successful responses, and an endpoint tells you the cost before you send a request.
What it returns is a page. SarvCrawl does not compete on unblocking. It turns ordinary public content and documents into a knowledge base that is chunked, embedded and searchable.
Using both
Fetch protected targets through ScraperAPI, and crawl your documentation, help centre and public reference content with SarvCrawl, so the content you want answered from is searchable.
SarvCrawl vs ScraperAPI: questions
Is SarvCrawl a ScraperAPI alternative?
For public content you want searchable, yes. For protected e-commerce or search-result scraping, ScraperAPI's proxies and bypasses are the better fit.
How does ScraperAPI pricing work?
Plans include a monthly pool of credits, from $49 for 100,000. Each request costs credits depending on the target and options, such as 10 extra for JavaScript rendering.
Does ScraperAPI do chunking or search?
No. It returns pages and structured data; storage, chunking, embeddings and search are yours to build. SarvCrawl includes them.
Can both crawl whole sites?
Yes. ScraperAPI has a crawler that follows links across a domain, and SarvCrawl's crawl endpoint does the same with depth, limit and exclude paths.
